My favorite way to help a dog understand their criteria for position changes.
In order to keep shipping costs down for customers, these boxes are shipped UNASSEMBLED. Everything you need to assemble them is included. This includes screws, screw bit attachment for drill or screwdriver, and directions. All holes have been predrilled to make it easy. Just line them up and put in the screws!
The position box is made with solid pine wood, not plywood like most position boxes you will find online. Foot targets (1/2" thick poplar wood) are covered with a non-slip rubber pellet surface.
How to determine the size of box:
Purchase only a position box or a position box and a separate front foot target. I do not suggest disassembling the position box to use only the front foot target board, as this will wearing your connection points over time.
I'm working on reconfiguring my program to automatically calculate the shipping cost with UPS ground for this item. Shipping runs ~$35-45 based on where the platform is being shipped. At this time, I am putting in a flat $40 shipping rate for the platform. If shipping is less than the $40, I will refund the difference.

- The width is the most important measurement. You want this as narrow as possible, while still allowing the dog to move between positions. I like the find a measurement for the dog in a sit position. You can see how this measurement is a little wider than what she would need for a dog, if I only measured the width of how shoulders in a down position.
- Maximum internal length of the boxes is 34".
- Front foot target depth - either 3.5" or 5.5".
